The sneaker is based on an Air Jordan 9 commercial released in the 1994-95 NBA season during Michael Jordan’s first retirement. Released in October 2012, the sneaker replaces the tongue’s traditional ‘Air Jordan�?branding with the name ‘Johnny Kilroy�?and swaps out Jordan’s #23 for a #4 on the heel.
